Scot and Carol have served in Madrid, Spain since 1998 as Christian educators at Evangelical Christian Academy, a school for missionary kids. They have served in many roles at ECA: teaching, business administration, construction project manager, dorm parents, recruitment, hospitality, headmaster. In addition to their work at ECA, the Mussers have been involved in church planting in the town of Camarma de Esteruelas. It is the only Protestant church in the area of 30,000 people. Scot has served as an elder and Carol has served as Sunday school superintendent.

Scot and Carol returned to Spain in December 2013 to begin service with Resourcing Christian Education International. Their vision, as noted in their latest prayer letter, is to see the "evangelism and discipleship of Spanish youth through Christian education" and to "develop a culturally sensitive, self-sustainable, reproducible model of Christian education for Spaniards." LIFE School, the outworking of the last few year's labors opened in the fall of 2017. The school continues to expand its staff and number of students. Please pray for this work, its influence in local communities, for its staff and leadership. Pray especially for the children and families enrolled in the school that the gospel will go forth and Christ will be proclaimed and many lives discipled.

Scot and Carol are the parents of 4 grown children all who are walking with the Lord and are serving in or have expressed interest in missions. Aaron, married to Katie, Lynette married to Will Hazlett, David, and Emily. They have 8 grandchildren.
