Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child (a ministry of Samaritan's Purse) is an ongoing mission project that is fun and easy to take part in. We gather gifts and items for children of various ages-goodies, toys, school supplies, toiletries and even handmade dresses and pack them into boxes. The boxes we pack are shipped (with prayers and love) to OCC's shipping center and are sent around the world to children in need. Those children receive gifts and learn about the greatest gift-the love of Christ.

This year we packed our shoe boxes early (in July) and will hold them to be shipped out in mid-November. When they are shipped they will be sent with labels that allow us to track the boxes and learn about the area in the world where they are delivered. Please pray that God will prepare the hearts of the children who will receive the boxes to hear and believe the gospel.

It is never too early to prepare for next year's boxes. If you purchase items ahead they can be stored at the church building until our next packing party.
